Leath Nunn, founder and artistic director of nunnbetter dance theatre (ndt), has a thirty-five year history in the performing arts and has transformed his passion for dance and dance instruction into this jewel of a school in northern New Jersey.

Nunnbetter Dance Theatre offers a wide range of dance programs ranging from ballet to modern, jazz, tap and hip-hop for students as young as three to through professional and a full adult program.

At our Bergen County studios, emphasis is on teaching correct technique in a welcoming, creative and fun environment where each student is encouraged to excel with proper guidance and inspiration from our professional staff. Students learn to develop a love for dance and an appreciation for the dedication and perseverance good dancing requires. Classes are of limited size so your child has the optimal dance instruction environment. Students enjoy many opportunities to demonstrate their accomplishments through performance; from our now famous annual 'Nutcracker' to our year's end recital to our annual 'company in residence' show.

Guest master teachers are invited throughout the academic year from various prestigious dance companies, offering additional instruction and original choreographed works just for our students. A fun and comprehensive summer camp is available each year offering the different disciplines throughout a full day of dance, culminating in their participation in a professionally produced musical rock video.
